Dealing with conflict is something that most of us must deal with on a daily basis. Difficult situations that can cause a great deal of stress and discomfort often arise in both the business world and outside of work. Most people prefer to avoid conflict in order to minimize the tension it may cause. Unfortunately, avoiding conflict often delays reality. Rather than dealing with conflict immediately, the situation is deferred until a later date. Under these conditions, problems can fester and turn into more complicated conflicts than one might have originally faced. To more effectively reduce conflict, one needs to tackle difficult situations head-on by using negotiation skills to seek effective resolutions. Our relationship-centered Conflict Negotiation Skills Seminar teaches participants the methodologies and skills required to minimize conflict and negotiate positive outcomes at work or at home.
The Conflict Negotiations Skills Seminar is designed to help attendees deal with the reality of every-day conflict. By teaching easy-to-use, repeatable negotiation skills, our one-day seminar can lead to reduced tension and a greater ability to minimize conflict both in the present and in the future. Vie the process of focusing on interests and issues and seeking to turn conflict-ridden situations into problem-solving sessions, participants will find that relationships can actually be strengthened when resolving conflict. Our seminar teaches how to build mutually beneficial outcomes – “win-win” situations that leave both parties satisfied with discussions. Time-tested learning methodologies are used to help skills become ingrained into one’s daily routine. Simulation sessions, communication assessments, exercises, participant-led activities and lectures reinforce the learning process in this seminar. The Conflict Negotiation Skills Seminar empowers participants with the ability to take on conflict via proven negotiation skills. As a result of attending this skills-based seminar, participants will be able to stop avoiding conflict and start negotiating their way to satisfactory results.
